New Methods of Tattoo Removal

Thank goodness we live in today’s world, where pain can be killed and money can buy time. Back in the days tattoos were seriously considered to be left alone regardless of the spite they carried, when patients had to choose from salabrasion or excision for removal. So thank goodness for lasers, fade away creams and removable ink.

These days if you don’t want a tattoo that’s okay. Q Switched lasers have come on the market, and they are designed to remove pigments in your skin. This process is said to be the least painful and quickest method of removal. Newer versions of these lasers have recently come about, which only adds to their popularity. The VeraPulse C is a combination of all four wavelengths that can manually be adjusted to fit the needs of the patient. Intense Pulsed Light Therapy or IPL is an even newer version of the Q Switched lasers, but instead a gel is applied and a wand is used to emit the light pulses. This procedure is said to be even less painful and you can complete treatments in half the time.

Fade Away Creams like Wrecking Balm, Tat-B-Gone, TattooOFF, and FadeAway all do pretty much the same thing. Promise you results and 2 years later you finally decide to go seek laser treatments. These creams can be just as expensive and require much more patience than I've got to offer. Some prove effective on tiny tattoos, but most people will tell you it’s a waste of time and money. Still these products are very popular for people looking to escape from the past.

Freedom 2 is a brand new removable ink just put on the market. It’s been approved by the FDA and has proven to remove tattoos with the help of laser treatments in one session. The removable ink is designed to look and act like normal tattoo ink until its time for removal. Ask your tattooist if they’ve heard of it and if so, try it out. Nothings permanent.
