They say it’s extremely painful! After all, you are applying what looks like an iron onto your skin. None of that sounds fun, in fact one has to ask themselves, is there a better way?
However, if you are a pain seeker, and you're not pregnant the Magic Wand System might be for you. They say to take a piece of the Magic Wand wax paper and place it over the tattoo, then you apply the iron, I mean the Heating Element to the paper for no less than 5 minutes. They say not to remove the heating element for any reason; instructions tell you to use the biting dowel. I'm not kidding. Once the five minutes is up you are told to apply the cream immediately, then to wrap the wound in bandages.
For the first 24 hours you should apply then reapply the bandages every thirty minutes. It takes about a month to heal from this procedure. During that time the wound shall begin to scab, and eventually the scabbing will fall off. Once the healing process is complete your tattoo should be gone. Repeat treatments are not supposed to be needed, but if you are removing a tattoo larger in size, you might want to consider removing it in two treatments.
